 Bownbee is India’s leading kids ethnic wear online brand. Our story began in 2015, when founder Monika Chaudhary, while exploring business ideas to promote Indian cultural artforms, noticed a gap in the kids ethnic wear market.

Inspired by dressing up her daughter in different traditional wear but finding the availability difficult, Monika decided to launch BownBee – with an objective to offer India’s diverse traditional wear under one roof.

Today, BownBee is India’s Top 100 D2C brand specializes in Indian Ethnic and Indi-casual wear for newborn babies to 15 years. We design traditional and Indo-western outfits in vibrant, breezy and comfortable Indian fabrics to make each celebration memorable for kids. Our Indi-casual range presents the right amalgamation of western silhouette with Indian fabrics and prints. We have unique collections for all major occasions and festivals - right from Republic Day in the beginning of the year till Christmas.

In order to maintain the right blend of regional textile crafts and in-house designs, we work with artisans and weavers from different states in India employing rural women. This not only helps us to bring in uniqueness and variety of cultural artform in the product range but also helps us serve the demands of heterogeneous Indian market.
